After the initial discussion, the trainer will perform an evaluation of your current physical condition. The evaluation includes a variety of exercises and movements that will provide information to the trainer about your flexibility, balance, coordination, strength, and cardiovascular health. By establishing this baseline of your current abilities, the trainer can provide feedback regarding what types of exercises and routines will best help you achieve your goals.

Together we will discuss your goals and any obstacles that may be in the way of achieving them. We will review your current medical and physical condition, nutritional habits, lifestyle factors, and any other limitations that may effect your exercise program.
We will go through a short workout together, but it is not a test. This workout is an assessment of your current level of fitness including your flexibility, balance, coordination, strength, & cardiovascular health. We observe your form so that we can begin making recommendations and design a personalized plan just for you.
During the consultation you will receive feedback from our certified personal trainers about which types of exercises will help you to best achieve your goals. We will offer suggestions on how to implement nutrition and lifestyle changes for more effective results.
To help us get to know you better, and to best assess your needs, we ask that you complete the new client paperwork before your consultation. If you are able to email the forms in advance, that is preferable, but not required.
Dress as you normally would for a workout, in comfortable clothes and athletic shoes. We will go through a brief workout so it is recommended that you eat at least 1 hour before your consultation. Bring water and a sweat towel if desired.
There is no obligation to sign up for any of our services if you schedule consultation. However, if you choose to work with one of our trainers, we will assist you in choosing the program to best fit your needs.
